Justin, Colton and I headed to Jackson to meet up with the Shaw's for Halloween. Colton was a duck hunter (aka 'dad') and Rylee was a pirate. The park in Flowood had lots of activities for the kids to do, unfortunately, Colton didn't take an afternoon nap, so the evening was not tons of fun...all he wanted was to smash his gun on the ground and play with his "baboon" (balloon). The other pictures below were taken a few weeks prior to Halloween at Cedar Hill Farm.

On my big green tractor
Last weekend we headed to Oklahoma for a small family get together. In between family gatherings, Colton and I headed to the shop to help dad on the tractor (I forget what this thing is called). Colton LOVES anything he can ride on, so this huge 'tractor' was a blast for him!!

Triathlon
Two weeks ago, Justin, Curtis (Justin's brother) and I competed in the Delta State triathlon as a team in Cleveland. We are not completely sure how we finished...we didn't stay for the awards, because Colton was passed ready to go, but there were 8 teams, we weren't in the top three, or last, so we were somewhere in the middle!

Colton, Bryant and Lucy Kate
Colton and I headed over to the Johnson's to play with Bryant and Lucy Kate. We had a great time, and was fun to watch Colton play with kids that are about his age, usually everyone is older than Colton. We played outside, went to the pool, and had a fun time eating and taking baths. I also was able to run over to Ginger's to meet sweet Jackson. Here are some pics of our day

this is what we have been doing lately...
Two weekends ago I headed to Birmingham for a continuing education course. Justin kept Colton all by himself the entire weekend for the first time...good news...everyone is still alive and has all their limbs!! Colton was walking prior to me leaving, but it wasn't his primary way of getting somewhere. He would walk until he fell and then would crawl the rest of the way. By the time I got home on Sunday, there was no more crawling, if he fell down, he just stood back up and started walking...ugh...the things I miss!
Riding the 4-wheeler
Looking for my golf balls
Playing in the water
Taking a break
Helping dad change my battery
Playing with Harris at the park
Quick story...Colton and I were playing outside yesterday, I was following him as he was pushing his wagon. The next thing I knew the wagon was getting too far ahead of him and he leaned forward and fell. Either his finger got caught up in the handle or he hit the ground funny, but his ENTIRE fingernail fell off! Poor baby was so upset, but that lasted about 30 minutes and he was up going again!
Tomorrow we head to the gastroenterologist for Colton's continuing reflux, hopefully we will get some answers!
